Ellis Hobbs looked like he had an easy interception of Tom Brady. He dove in front of Jabar Gaffney on a sideline route, and it looked like he made the play. But when the two got up, Gaffney actually had the ball and the ref gave him the reception. Nice grab by Gaff (as Belichick called him in a press conference this week).

Do you think Gaff could make it as far up the depth chart as our number 2 wideout? I really think him and Brady have something going, what do you think?

I’m not sure he has Stallworth’s speed to stretch the field. Let’s not count Stallworth out yet. Just think if they had not brought in Moss it would be last years WR’s were looking at with Welker in the slot. Gaffney did show last year he could be the go to guy though. I also like Bam as you mentioned in another post.
